Daily Maintenance & Care

Pre Installation

• Co-Wash your hair using a moisturizing conditioner
• Rinse with cool water & let air dry

Everyday Care 

All Textures

• To care for hair please avoid using too much product as this may lead to product build up
• Use Alcohol-free and sulfate-free products
• Be gentle and brush from bottom up, In small sections
• Minimal heat reduces the risk of heat damages
• Use a light heat protectant to protect curl pattern
• Use a wide tooth comb or paddle brush
• Air Drying is recommended

Curly/Wavy Hair Tips

• Requires a little more maintenance
• Hair must be kept hydrated
• Use a lightweight, oil-less leave in conditioner, to prevent tangling, frizzing and matting
• Use a wide tooth comb 
• Minimal heat to protect curl pattern

Chemically Altering Hair

• D.Rouse hair is 100% virgin hair
• Can be bleached and/or dyed
• We recommend that all chemical alterations be done by a professional

Night Care

• Wrap or gently tie up hair to prevent tangling, matting and shedding
• Use silk scarf or silk bonnet
• You can also braid your hair in small sections at night 
• Never sleep on loose or wet hair
